The old adage that a picture is worth a 1000 words is true. I have used photos in many marketing efforts and they work. Humans are wired to recognize faces. Images evoke emotions and convey ideas.
So if that is the case, then what does presenting a concept do? The concept of eco-friendly and sustainable methods is growing and becoming more accepted and desired than ever before.
What does it say to the customer when a business gives away a sustainable promotion? It says, more than anything, that the business is in it for the long run, looking to the future and planning to be part of the future. It says “it’s important that we look to the future” and that is a concept that every person recognizes. Giving a pen helps the customer remember the business on a daily basis. It is my contention that giving a recycled pen not only says remember our business, it says “remember we care about everyone’s future” and the business is not in it just for themselves and the short run.
It does cost a little more and thankfully the gap between the cost of virgin materials and recycled materials is closing. And the more people use them, them more positive impact we make to all our futures.
Thanks for the read,
